O setor de medicamentos gen\u00e9ricos atingiu um crescimento de 10,13% no terceiro trimestre de 2024, conforme levantamento da Pr\u00f3Gen\u00e9ricos. Este \u00e9 o maior aumento registrado nos \u00faltimos cinco anos, refor\u00e7ando a import\u00e2ncia dos gen\u00e9ricos na democratiza\u00e7\u00e3o do acesso \u00e0 sa\u00fade no Brasil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Foram comercializadas 551 milh\u00f5es de unidades, superando as 500 milh\u00f5es vendidas no terceiro trimestre de 2023. Segundo Tiago de Moraes Vicente, presidente-executivo da Pr\u00f3Gen\u00e9ricos, este desempenho consolida a relev\u00e2ncia dos gen\u00e9ricos no mercado: “Al\u00e9m de serem uma alternativa de qualidade, eles promovem a competitividade e oferecem pre\u00e7os mais acess\u00edveis, contribuindo para a sustentabilidade do sistema de sa\u00fade brasileiro.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A confian\u00e7a dos consumidores tamb\u00e9m segue em alta. De acordo com o IQVIA, 92,7% dos consumidores optam por substituir medicamentos de refer\u00eancia por gen\u00e9ricos. Al\u00e9m disso, pesquisa da Febrafarma aponta que 93% dos brasileiros confiam nesses produtos, demonstrando a crescente aceita\u00e7\u00e3o dos gen\u00e9ricos como uma alternativa segura e eficaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Outro destaque no mercado farmac\u00eautico \u00e9 o crescimento dos biossimilares, cuja participa\u00e7\u00e3o saltou de 1,64% em junho de 2021 para 9,72% em junho de 2024, representando um aumento de 1.533% nas vendas em unidades.
